Business Grants for Employee Training
The purpose of the Business Grants for Employee Training Program is to provide resources for employers to train currently employed workers in an effort to keep businesses and workers competitive.
On-The-Job Training
Employers who find job seekers that may not have all of the experience or skill necessary to perform the job duties, but who could become job ready with additional training, may be able to receive financial assistance for training.

Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance has gathered resources for both individuals and recruiters to make the right connections and stay involved in the workforce community. At Illinois workNet®, you’ll find career development workshops, hiring events, job fairs, opportunity fairs, veterans opportunities, Industry-specific opportunities and training, and much more across the region.

These events are sponsored by IDES and the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), and most are located at 1300 S. 9th Street in Springfield unless otherwise noted.
