A Personal Approach

The professionals at the Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance provide career guidance services tailored to your particular needs. The center helps job seekers with career counseling, education, job training guidance, financial aid for education and training, personalized career plans, unemployment insurance services, and Illinois Skills Match alongside Internet job listings and referrals to partner organizations.

Adults, Veterans, & Dislocated Workers

We provide career development programs and services to Illinois residents. Our services and programs can help job seekers gain and retain employment through access to high-demand job opportunities.

Youth

LLWA provides services to youth and young adults between the ages of 14 to 21 to increase participation in integrated work and learning opportunities. With the help of our partners, young Illinoisans are offered paid and unpaid work experiences, tutoring, and adult mentoring, leadership and occupational skills training, guidance and counseling, and other support services.

When you visit the center, you will meet with a workforce specialist individually. They will explain all of the services we provide and help you plan for your future. You’ll learn skills to help you develop your resume, write a cover letter to an employer, and sharpen your interviewing skills. The center’s facilities are also built to help you along your job search. Use computers, printers, fax machines, and copiers at LLWA to communicate your interest to potential employers.
